This Little Gem is an oil painting inspired by a cottage garden I saw while on holiday in Lake Tekapo. That was painted with thick oil paint. The paintings in this collection were painted with a palette knife and the technique used is called Impasto. The paint texture is stunning and it makes this little gem stand out in any small wall/room.
