This is an oil painting inspired by the flower gardens annual display in the Townend Conservatory at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens in New Zealand. That was painted with thick oil paint. The paint is applied with a palette knife and the technique used is called Impasto. The paint texture is stunning and it makes this little gem stand out in any small wall/room.
